Medicare Australia looks after all Australians, young and old.
In Allied Health for Aged Care, they have the "Extended Primary Care program"; a system for Chronic Disease Management which allows up to five (5) treatments per year to be bulk billed.
Eligible residents suffering from a chronic condition should discuss this with their GP.
Once the GP has contributed to the existing resident care plan (item 731), the GP may refer to Allied Health.
Carepro has recently been approached by Medicare Australia to participate in electronic online claiming, which vastly speeds up the claims process.
This, along with our existing specialised systems will allow us to make it easier for you and your residents.
We are also one of the few participating in online claiming software development. This allows our custom software system direct access to the main Medicare database, making our proceses more accurate and always 100% up-to-date.

Low Care Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) Gold Card holders are totally covered for their podiatry and Physiotherapy costs.
We supply a comprehensive service to our veterans which includes specialised dressings, falls risk analysis and we are also able to provide orthosis where required and any other service the resident may require.
Some White Card holders are also able to be bulk billed. We suggest you contact the Department on 13 3254 to enquire if your WHITE CARD is eligible for Allied Health.
High Care residents may not be billed to DVA for their treatments.
